How can I help How can I help Friends of Grasslands to conserve, protect and promote grasslands? Well! There is usually plenty to be done. And you might want to try something new, something you haven't done before. The general answer is that if you would like to find out more about how to help, then Contact Us and have a talk about it. The sorts of things that need doing range from the mundane to the heroic!
FoG is an advocacy and education group that relies on it membership for its voice. One of the easiest things you can do to help is to become a member, add to our voice and hear what we have to say. Wanted: Help with FoG Program – Janet Russell and Geoff RobertsonIn order to spread the workload and to obtain fresh ideas, we would like some more people to assist in organising FoG’s program. FoG’s program committee takes responsibility for: · organising, coordinating and writing up the annual program;· ensuring that someone takes responsibility for individual events, publicity, signing people on at an activity, etc;· writing up individual events for the newsletter;· and preparing and distributing the e-Bulletin.Currently (December 2007), we are putting together the 2008 program which will consist of some traditional favourites, but we would like to hear your views on possible half day, one day and longer field trips and visits to properties, topics for workshops, topics for presentations, education activities, and possible collaborative activities with other organisations. There are numerous ways you might help – so please contact us with any offers of assistance or program ideas. Someone who already has access to web authoring software or who wants to learn how to put together a web site would be ideal.
