Membership

Membership of Friends of Grasslands is open to all, both individuals and organisations.

Subscriptions support printing and distribution of the newsletter and general running costs.  FoG is entirely non profit and we keep membership costs as low as practicable.  Membership numbers are important - the more members we have the more seriously we are taken, everything else being equal.  And it is good to know the work done by active members is appreciated by others.

Members receive the FoG newsletter as it comes out.

Members with email access also receive an emailed e-Bulletin.  The main purpose of the e-Bulletin is to remind members of forthcoming FoG activities. In addition it includes details of other non-FoG activities that the editor thinks might be of interest to FoG members. If you would like to publicise such an activity please send details to the e-Bulletin editor in plenty of time for inclusion in the next e-Bulletin (Contact us). As a general rule the e-Bulletin is issued about a week before a FoG activity or group of activities.

FoG has life memberships and other awards to recognise those who make special contributions to its work.

HOW TO JOIN FRIENDS OF GRASSLANDS

Membership costs $30 for individual, or family, or not for profit organisation, $10 concession for student or pensioner, and $60 for other corporate bodies. Overseas membership is OK, provided all communication is electronic. Membership is on a calendar year basis.

Use the membership form (Word version) (or this pdf version) to send us details of your name, address, telephone and e-mail. You might also indicate your interests in grassland issues. You do not need to be an active member - some who join have many commitments and only wish to receive the newsletter - but you are bound by FoG's constitution.  Please make cheques payable to Friends of Grasslands Inc.  See the Contact Us page for current information on how to find us.
